in Her Footsteps

In Her Footsteps is an 8-session course highlighting the work of Muslim women from the Islamic Golden age. This course includes a list of women at the forefront of philanthropy, jurisprudence, science, astronomy, family, medicine, and community development. Each session will also be coupled with fun activities that will help our young sisters come together, grow, and build community.

Taught by Nada Hassan

Age: For girls ages 8-10 and 11-13

• We will be facilitating break out groups and group discussion based on those two age ranges so we can adhere to appropriate age level instruction.

Duration: 8-session course, bi-weekly 2nd and 4th Friday of every month.
